Jennifer Day, LCSW

Jennifer has a Masters in Social Work from the University of Alabama. She has been working in the helping field since 2015, and as a therapist since 2020. She primarily has experience working with adults, dealing with addiction, anxiety, depression, past trauma, relationships, family of origin and financial stressors. She is well versed in abstinence based 12-step recovery but believes in any pathway to recovery for her clients. She primarily uses a person-centered approach to allow clients to identify their own goals and help them to find solutions to their own problems. She has worked with adolescents as well, to be able to understand and express their emotions and build self-esteem. Jennifer enjoys helping people to identify needs and how to use strengths to overcome any barriers to getting those needs met. She also uses spirituality, self-care, CBT, motivational interviewing and similar topics/modalities as appropriate to promote continued progress in therapy.

Jennifer offers in-clinic and tele-health visits for adults and adolescents when appropriate.
