Blake earned his Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health from the University of West Georgia. He is an Associate Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with experience working with both adolescents and adults. Specializing in supporting clients navigating addiction, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders, BlakeĀ is dedicated to creating a comfortable and safe environment where clients feel heard and understood. With a passion for both client care and education, Blake integrates psychoeducational elements into sessions to empower clients with valuable insights and tools for personal growth.
Drawing from a strong foundation in Adlerian therapy, Blake utilizes a strengths-based approach to help clients explore their unique experiences and goals. Additionally, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques are incorporated to assist clients in identifying patterns of thinking and behavior that may be hindering their progress.
Blake prioritizes building a collaborative, trusting therapeutic relationship with each client, aiming to help them gain the self-awareness and coping strategies needed for lasting change and well-being.
Blake is practicing under the supervision of Julie Evans, LPC, CPCS.
